Gave the Wall of Stories a new look and added
some stories to it. Gave the Garden of Echoes a new look. Added new links
to the Garden of Links. Gave the Wall of Lost Souls a new
look. Added The Computer Prayer and The Trouble Tree to the Garden of Words.

Recreated the Garden of Words with frames using
some Web Jewels from Moyra. Also did lots of background housekeeping, such
as added target values to links. Have begun the process of putting graphic
credits on each page. Main garden pages are done; flowerbeds are in process
of being completed. Can you tell I'm on vacation??

Created Garden of Guards. Added photos of Trinity
to Garden of Visions. Rearranged the Garden of Visions. Split Garden of
Links & Webrings into two separate beds. Weeded the Tripod stat counters.
Added MC Escher flowerbed to Garden of Visions. Added 11th commandment
and WebPrestige flowers to main garden bed. Added a link to the northern
wall of stories via a guestbook signature function.

to the Garden of Words. Updated Garden of Lost Souls. Added Modified Environments
link to Garden of Links and Web Rings.

Added the Modified Environments Board Member
quotations section in the Hanging Garden of Quotations. Removed some obsolete
links from the Garden of Links. Replaced some pictures in the Album of
Friends. Added The Faerie, The Cub and The Red Mark to the Garden of Words.

Over the past week I've updated a few pages.
Added Phenomenal Woman to Garden of Words. Added new graphics to Garden
of Visions. Added sounds to Garden of Echoes.
4/23/99
Renamed the Eye Candy Garden to the Garden of
Visions. Added the Garden of Echoes. Added the Wall of Lost Souls and the
Wall of Stories. Started this record of changes to Ygg's Garden.
4/4-17/99
Over the course of the next two weeks, I added
the Eye Candy Garden, Garden of Words, Hanging Garden of Links and the
Hanging Garden of Thanks and Credits. I also found the rock art from Thang's
Caverns and spent hours redoing the stuff for this site (mostly behind
the scenes weeding).
4/3/98
I visited the site of a dear old friend and was
instantly shamed. Her web site, Helping Hearts and Helping Hands, was fabulous
and had won awards and joined multiple web rings. Thought I ought to get
my act together and start planting some gardens. That night, I went out
and found a bunch of flowers, fences and flowers. I then put together the
framework for the gardens you see now. That night I concentrated mostly
on sowing the front lawn.
2/99 sometime
I set up a three page web-site very quickly,
just to get something up there after so long in absentia. In the interim,
I'd been reborn as Ygg, and retired my old handle of Thang Beater. Thank
you, Roger Zelazny. Phuh. I never thought I'd say that.
Mid-1998
Sometime during mid-'98 I set up an account at
Tripod, but never got around to putting the site back up. Lost the files
for a while too, so I didn't have a site to put back up.
Long Ago
This website was born as Thang Beater's Caverns
sometime in 1996. The site primarily consisted of the petroart located
in the current Garden of Rock Art. I had a few links here and there, plus
the quotations found in the Hanging Garden of Quotations. I took the site
down when I moved to Florida (from Connecticut) in 2/98.
